About Gill Johnson & School4Dogs

School4Dogs is a local dog club that is based in Welwyn Garden City. We deal with puppies, adolescents and adult dogs of all breeds and ages and hold clicker classes too. Next year we will be hopefully branching into agility so watch this space. As there are a few classes to choose from please look at each individual class to see which one would suit you best.

School4Dogs' trainer is Gill Johnson MBIPDT who is a qualified instructor and is a member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers having gained the highest BIPDT award, the Advanced Instructors Certificate. Gill uses kind and reward based methods to help both the dog and handler learn in harmony and hopefully make that great loving partnership that we love to have with our dogs.

Gill has been training with dogs most of her life starting with her own dogs at the age of 13 but taking the more serious route about 13 years ago starting as a dog trainer with Hatfield dog club where she still takes an active role as one of the advanced trainers and is also Chairman of the club.Gill owns 3 Border Collies Heidi, Breeze and Indi and is also the team captain of the Racing Herts Flyball Club that train at Bayford Hall Farm, Bayford Lane, Bayford.

She reguarly attends training courses in various aspects of dog training and dog health etc as this helps to enhance the training that she offers to people and their dogs. Gill also offers one to one training sessions which can be taken in either the owner's home or in outside venues.
